1st Day & 1st Time in Hong Kong

We were on a Cathay Pacific Disneyland Promotion package (1 night stay in Disneyland & 2 nights at Royal Plaza, Mongkok, Kowloon), our thanks to Mary for the arrangement and making this trip a successful one despite Hong Kong was tested with severe Black Storm Rain.
Our group comprising of Peter, Mary and their two lovely daughters Isabelle and Chelsea, as for us together with Jo, Xiang Yi & Zuyi.
We landed Hong Kong around 1.00pm and checked in Hollywood Hotel at Disneyland. Immediately checking in we headed for Mickey Mouse’s world. Before visiting any place of interest everyone was game for lunch. Lunch at Clopin’s Festival of Foods.
Pork Dumpling noodle – lousy
Roasted Chicken Rice equally bad
Shredded beef noodle – the best among all
Fried rice was so good as it was freshly fried with generous amount of Chinese sausage, luncheon meat and prawns.
We stay at Disneyland until 8.00pm for the fireworks.
The kids enjoyed place like:-
Winnie the Pooh storybook ride.
It’s a small world…
Jungle river cruising
Autopia (electric car) ride to the future highway of tomorrow – Xiang Yi’s favourite.
