Morning tour to the Chinatown Wet Market, Chiangmai

On the second day we were supposed to pick our third ball for golf but we before arrival time we went roaming around in Chiangmai. The driver took us the the oldest temple in Old Chiangmai known as Wat Chiang Mun.
Then we went to Chinatown and had a quick walk around the market or they called the flower market. Live eels, crabs look good, bought some of these for scrubbing back. Stalls selling fried stuff.

After the market visit we went to Stardom a driving range with 9 holes golf course for a golf sale fair.
At the airport waiting for our friend, we saw a prominent politician emerged from the arrival hall and no other than Dr. Chua Soi Lek & friends carrying golf bags with them. This is how Thailand promotes their tourism, sending beautiful girls welcoming visitors at the arrival hall, bravo. How nice if we Malaysian can follow this way.
This pork soup stall which I visited the last trip in 2005 was closed and was told that the operator was away to Bangkok. Teresa Tang used to stay at the Hotel Mae Ping just opposite this stall and she used to patronize this stall. Will try again the next trip.
