Mun Choong Restaurant @ Jalan Pasir Puteh, Ipoh

It was a last minute reservation and a wonderful experience to visit Mun Choong Restaurant.

We were lucky to get the last table of the night for 15 people. When we arrived at the restaurant it was as if we were attending a wedding dinner. It was really packed to the maximum. We ordered a set dinner of RM298.00 plus a couple more of dishes.

The quality of food here is very good despite the restaurant was filled with so many customers.
The dinner was served in a relax mode with no question of hurrying us to finish our food. It was a right choice to dine in Mun Choong Restaurant.

The Captain was showing off her skill to de-skin the duck. A duck that was served in 4 dishes as part of the RM298 package (Set Dinner).
Four Seasons – a typical Chinese appetiser for a start. Everyone was HUNGRY.

Minced duck meat in “fried pancake” and to be eaten with the steamed & soft buns.

The duck skin neatly wrapped with spring onion for us to savour the crispy skin of the duck.
Tasty duck soup of that bird again.
Delicious & fresh steamed Patin fish.

Stir fried French beans with succulent white mushroom & cashew nuts.

Fried minced duck meat to be wrapped with Chinese lettuce.

This braised pork trotter was gorgeous and yummy.

Another stir fried mixed vegetables for a balance diet.

I love these big headed prawns, it was fresh, juicy with a nice aroma of a good seafood.

And lastly, we were served with a plate of fried noodle for us to fill up the unfilled corners of our digestive system. The noodle tastes something like a hybrid of instant noodle and the local yellow mee.

A toast for a good dinner from Siew Wah & Jan.
