RSC vs RBSC @ Templer Park Country Club 2011

The show down between Royal Selangor Club and Royal Bangkok Sport Club was held at Templer Country Club.

Our Thai opponents were happy with the beautiful golf course, the weather was kind and everyone had a wonderful outing both the host and the visiting team. Swadi Krap....

Ruben and Dato Dr. Joginder Singh squeezing Vincent Heng for a photo shot.

All getting ready at the buggy station. RSC in apple green and the Thais in white.

And off we ascend the green hill to challenge the trophy of  30 years at home soil.

Our flight started at Hole no.8, we were given a mission to win this pair. But due to comradeship both the Malaysians & Thais were so diplomatic & gentlemen about the game of good golf, we enjoyed had a good time indeed.

This Thai is 71 years old and he played like 17. His name is Pichet Loakasem and his asset is his putting very deadly indeed.

Francis Yeoh Song Ming played well though he has an injured palm. Was he fishing or playing golf, the second picture looks better.
hApPy HaPpY played with Athaporn Khaimarn before whether it was in Bangkok or Kuala Lumpur I can not remember but I was glad to see and play with him again in KL. Welcome back to KL.

Pichet keeping the score and it was 1-1, a draw at the end. What a friendly and happy golfing with our Thai counterparts. We will see them in Bangkok this December.
